![]() We decided to stop for lunch, we hadn't taken a packed lunch with us so headed for the Snack Bar. So in 4 hours we had managed to get on just three rides. ![]() Next ride we got into the queue and got on it at 1.45pm. Another hour in the queue, we got on that one at 12.30. Back out to find the next ride to get on. After an hour in the queue, we got on that one at 11.15am, it lasted 4 minutes. ![]() We arrived at 10am when it opened, found a spot to leave all our stuff and then proceeded to queue for the first ride. So you're basically sweating for an hour to get on a ride that lasts maybe a few minutes tops. On top of that you're not allowed to take anything with you - no sunglasses, no hats, no flip flops or footwear, nothing. Think about 35 degrees heat, in your swimwear, stood in the blazing sun, queuing for a ride. Which means, on the busy months (July for us), the queues for every single ride are minimum of one hour. There is no minimum number of people allowed into the park so anyone who turns up can go in. It has so many big rides and is spread across a big area, so on arrival, we were so excited to get started. This is a fantastic and very impressive water park. Warning - no taxis when you leave so be sure to book transport or an Uber (inflated prices when we left to go back as a few people trying to get one). Also a great shaded tented area to eat under. In comparison to others we went on the hunt for food at 12:45 near the entrance and there were no queues, got slightly busier about 1:15 but about 3 mins wait. They also didn’t open the main ride (log flume) until 2 hrs before closing which meant there was a large queue but went down quickly. We queued at the maximum around 10 mins for a ride (but also acknowledge this was a Tuesday in June …I don’t think I would like to experience peak time!). The indoor part is closed so if you want that then you will be disappointed but that didn’t stop our enjoyment. All toilets we visited were really clean. but that is due to people walking around the park with no flip flops. My boyfriend and I put towels down on the grass but needn’t have done as 1) we never went back to them for the whole day and 2) there were plenty of sun beds around near the wave pool for example which were in the shade.Īs others have said, the park isn’t the cleanest on the steps etc. Lockers big enough to fit a small backpack but no more. You then have to queue to get a locker (3 mins!) this is €10 but you get €5 back when you return the key. There is a queue when you arrive but this disappeared in 5 mins at most (our taxi driver did bid us ‘good luck’ when we left which didn’t fill us with confidence!). I booked my tickets online today (woke up to a cloudy day!) and the site let me book in English etc. I was really worried about visiting the park following previous reviews but have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. ![]() I visited the water park today, can only comment on the experience as a couple so if you visit with children you may have a different experience. ![]()
